Equipment Description:

The FACScan system is an automated flow cytometer

It analyzes cells as they pass through a focused laser beam one at a time in a moving fluid stream. A BD FACScan flow cytometer can be used for routine research applications, immunophenotyping, and DNA cell-cycle analysis. The FACScan system consists of a sensor module, computer module, and several software packages. Many of the instrument functions are controlled by the software.

The FACScan is equipped with three detectors to measure fluorochromes that excite at 488 nm. The FACScan is engineered with fixed optical, electronic and fluidic components that cannot be reconfigured.

Features:

Side scatter using Brewster beam splitter.

Pulse ht., real-time histograms, dot-plots.

FL1-FL2 and FL2-FL3 compensation.

Waiver of subrogation applies in favor of JJSI, Lexington, and its affiliates with respects to General Liability, Product Liability and Workers Compensation where agreed to by contract prior to date of loss
Policy is effective at time of transaction and should be valid for at least one year
Certificate holder is JJSI and Lexington
Policy includes language that J&J will be notified upon cancellation or expiration
