Equipment Description:

Hydrogenation system using 6.82m3 capacity Jacketted Stainless Steel Reactor, 1996, RE268.
  • Item 1, Benson Sedgewick, 6.82m3 full, 5.1m3 working volume jacketted 316 S/s Reactor, is mounted on its 4 side lugs supported off the surrounding external 4.8m high Mezzanine. The domed vessel top is fitted with a central Lightnin Mixer, AG269, which drives a Crane lubricated / sealed internal double 4 angled bladed S/s stirrer, within the S/s reactor which is fitted with 4 off wall mounted baffles. The domed top of the reactor is also fitted with a 600mm diameter bolted manway, complete with 150mm diameter sightglass, and 9 other top ports, one being fitted with sightglass & lamp, and one with a level probe. The jacketted Reactor is lagged, and glass fibre clad on the domed top, and S/s clad on the sides and domed bottom. The domed bottom of the Reactor has a 100mm diameter x 1.9m high outlet, fitted with an actuated plug discharge valve. The external dimensions of the Reactor are 2.6m x 2.6m x 7.3m high, and weight empty = 6000 kgs.
  • Item 2, 750Kg SWL Swinging Crane Davit, with sliding manual chainblock, mounted on a 2.5long x 3m high beam.
  • Item 3, Process Plant Engineers Ltd, 1972, 500 Imp Gallon, 316L S/s Lagged and S/s clad Domed top & bottom Storage Tank, TA720, fitted with 4 top inlet ports, one with level probe, and a central 50mm diameter bottom outlet. The tank is 1.2m in diameter x Straight Side 2m, and is fitted with 450mm diameter side bolted inspection manway. Tested to 30 psi TP. the tank is mounted on 4 x 700mm high legs. the unit measures 1.4m outside diameter x 3m high, and weighs approx 2 tonnes.
  • Item 4 & 5, 2 off 1995, GAF 600 Litre Filters, Type PB.6ASLM/OO, S/n 10670, with hinged top lids, Internal dims = 750mm diameter x 1200mm high, Rated Max working Pressure = 10.5 Bar, Max working Temp = 150 degrees C, External size for each = 1100 x 900 x 1850mm high, weight approx each = 1 tonne.
  • Item 6, John Dore Co Ltd, 1972, Distillates S/s Tank, VR313, has a domed top with 5 x 50mm diameter inlet ports, a domed bottom with a central 50mm diameter x 800mm high outlet, and a cantilever supported 600mm diameter bolted side inspection hatch. The vessel is supported on 4 legs, and measures externally 1m x 0.8m x 2.5m high, and weighs 600 kgs.
  • Item 7, SC294, S/s Scrubber Column Containment vessel, is a lagged and S/s clad 800mm external diameter x 1800mm high vessel, fitted with a domed top on which is mounted the 300mm diameter Scrubber column, a 50mm diameter Inlet, and a 220mm diameter Inspection window. The vessel has a 25mm & a 50mm diameter piped side connection, and has flat bottom that supported 350mm off the sump floor by 4 legs.
  • Item 8, Alfa Laval plate Heat Exchanger HE292, and PU 284 Pumping Skid, that measures 1.5m x 0.9m x 2.5m high and weighs approx 1 tonne. The Plate heat exchanger is a 1996 Alfa Laval M10-MFG, 11 Litre volume PHE, S/n 30101-44241, rated upto 10 Bar & 160 degrees C. The pump is a Durco 3x1.5-6 pump, fitted on its skid with a 415v/3/50/4Kw drive.
  • Item 9, Reactor RE268, Chemical Transfer Pump, fitted with a 415/3/50/5.5Kw drive, skid mounted in sump area, which measures 1100 x 400 x 500mm high, and weighs approx 300 Kgs.
  • Item 10, GAF S/s Basket Filter, Type RB-IASL, fitted with a 200mm diameter x 700mm high basket, with an external dimension of 400 x 250 x 1000mm high, weighing approx 100 Kgs.
  • Item 11, Air Receiver, AR268, 300mm diameter x 800mm Straight side + adjacent S/s Air pump, measuring 300 x 300 x 300mm high. External receivor sizing = 1100 x 350 x 350, weight + pump = approx 100 kgs.
  • Item 12, PU295, Small Chemical Transfer Pump, fitted with a 415v/3/50/1.5Kw EEx rated drive, having overall dimensions of 600 x 300 x 400mm high, weight = 50 Kgs
