270L Batch Bioreactor System
Manufactured by B. Braun Biotech in 2000. Unit was installed and started up for testing water only.
Designed for batch mammalian cell culture.
Unit consists of two separate skids: utility skid containing temperature control and gas flow control equipment and clean space skid containing the tank and sterile filters. Skids are designed to sit back to back with a wall between separating mechanical space from classified space.
Top mount agitator with dual A-100 impellers and clean steam condensate lubricated double mechanical shaft seal.
Designed for gas feeds of air, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen.
Designed for liquid feeds of media, inoculum, antifoam, caustic, and clean steam.
Designed for automated SIP and clean in place (CIP) of all product contact surfaces.
Asepco brand sample and bottom valves.
ITT brand diaphragm valves.
Ports for three pH and three dissolved oxygen probes (25mm Ingold style).
All product contact surfaces are 316 stainless steel with 25 Ra max surface finish.
Vent cooler on tank exhaust.
Designed for control via Foxboro I/A Distributed Control System. Foxboro I/O panels are available if buyer desires. No local controller or software included.
