Mandatory Bidder Requirements
Thank you for your interest in registering for the upcoming auction of equipment from Johnson & Johnson. Please note that the seller has some very specific buyer requirements.
The seller will NOT sell any equipment to re-sellers. All buyers MUST be END USERS.
The articles that are being sold are for commercial use only, and Buyers MUST AGREE that these items will not be resold to other organizations for commercial use. Existing EquipNet Bidders that knowingly participate in this auction with the intent of purchasing this equipment for resale, will have any items won rejected by the Seller, and will also risk losing EquipNet Bidding privileges.
If you are the winning bidder for an item, before an invoice can be sent to you, you will need to sign a copy of the seller sales agreement. Please CLICK HERE to view a copy of the sales agreement.
You will also need to provide a certificate of insurance that meets the following requirements:
1. Certificate must be in the Buyer Company’s name.
2. JJSI must be named as an additional insured (certificate holder) on the policy. JJSI address on the policy must be written exactly as follows:

3. In the area where the certificate shows a description of operations, the following two sentences
must appear exactly as written below:
• JJSI and its affiliates are added as additional named insured.
• Waiver of subrogation applies to general liability and workers compensation
where permitted by law.
4. Liability coverage must be for $1MIL per occurrence.
5. Workers Compensation coverage must be for $1MIL.
6. Insurance policy must be valid at the time of the transaction. Policy date must show that the policy is not expired.
7. It must be noted that JJSI will be notified if the policy is cancelled or expires.
8. Boxes must be checked on the certificate to show that subrogation is waived for BOTH liability and workers compensation.
You will not be able to receive your invoice until the requirements described above are received by EquipNet. If there are any bids within 5 minutes of the close of the auction, the close time for that specific item will be extended in 5 minute increments until there are no bids by the end of the following 5 minute block. For example:
If listing 1234 receives a bid at 4:56pm on Friday (4 minutes before the close of the auction), the close time for that particular lot will be extended to 5:05pm. If that lot receives another bid at 5:04pm, the close time is extended to 5:10pm. If there are no more bids between 5:05pm and 5:10pm, the lot will close at 5:10pm.
There is no limit to the number of times an auction can be extended. Therefore, EquipNet, Inc. recommends that you check back often as an auction nears closing time.

Shipping & Removal:
It is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange and pay for the removal, packing, shipping, and insurance as required on items won at the Auction. Cost and responsibility of removal within the removal period remains with the buyer. All items must be removed immediately or within the specified removal period or shall be deemed abandoned and resold by EquipNet, Inc.
Please be sure to read the Listing description carefully as ALL items sold are subject to a handling fee. Equipnet loading charges are figured using industry recognized box & pallet size calculations and as well as the weight of the purchased items. As such, oversized (extra wide/ long or excessively heavy items) may be designated as custom; and will be priced accordingly on the listing. Crating and additional packing services are optionally available please contact our Logistics team for a quote/more details.
**Please note Buyers of 5 or more lots may qualify for discounted handling charges. You will note these discounts on your invoice after the auction. Also, Buyers choosing to use EquipNet Logistics services may qualify for a discount. Please speak with your EquipNet Logistics representative AFTER you have paid for your auction purchases in full, about the possibility of discounts.
