Starview’s MS/PH1 Series single-station floor model shuttle type heat sealers are designed for small to medium volume production requirements. Standard machines are available with 14” x 18”, 18” x 24” and 24” x 36” sealing areas. These machines are specifically designed for medical applications using foils, medical kraft, Tyvek and other heat sealable lidstock. These high quality machines are ideal for start-up companies, back up equipment, cellular production lines or low volume in-house packaging. MS/PH1 Series machines are one (1) operator shuttle type sealers utilizing quick-change sealing fixtures. For machines capable of higher production rates please consider Starview’s ERB/PH Series and FAB/PH Series Rotary Sealing Machines.
An operator loads the tray(s), product(s) and lidstock into the sealing fixture. The sealing fixture is pushed into the machine and the automatic sealing cycle is initiated by a start button. At the end of the short sealing cycle the sealing fixture is pulled back, the finished package(s) removed and the cycle is repeated.

Ethernet connection to HMI allows remote access to screens and PLC functions by customer from PC, Laptop, smartphones and tablet devices to HMI screens and PLC functions, and by Starview for program changes, diagnosis or updates when internet connected. Optional Wi-Fi connection available.

System monitoring page. Heating zone temperatures, system pressure, batch counter and job recipe displayed at a glance
Production counter page displays total machine cycles, current job cycles and current job completed packages. Production speeds are displayed in both cycles per minute and packages per minute
Machine standby mode. 7-day programmable schedule allows automatic machine start-up and shut down
Full Job Recipe storage with memory for up to 100 different recipes
History page with last 80,000 cycles stored and displayed with time and date stamp. Stored in machine memory for 300 days.
Dual Mode Seal Timer- may be set to start when press cylinder is energized or when press reaches full pressure in sealing position
Temperature controllers, digital on screen with alarms. PID controller with auto-tuning feature.
Temperature readout may be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
