Equipment Description
  • This line is designed to assemble a pen style injector with a premade dose mechanism, pre-filled cartridge of product and injector cap
  • The premade dosing mechanism is supplied in a packaged tray with 240 units per tray from the manufacturer
  • The dosing body is supplied by an automatic tray unloading system to feed the line
  • The main machine is a monoblock design for loading the pre-filled cartridge in to the body, place cap and label the pen
  • The product was a pre-filled 3ml cartridge
  • Cognex vision system with automatic reject for out of specification products
  • Integrated horizontal cartoner for glue style cartons
  • Format 1: One (1) carton with two (2) UnoPens
  • Format 2: One (1) carton with three (3) UnoPens.
  • Line was running at a speed or 40 pieces per minute
  • Two leaflets for each package (instructions for Use and a patient information leaflet)

  • Pen specifications
  • Primary container - Standard 3 mL and 1.5 mL cartridge according to ISO 11608-3
  • Number of dose increments: 60
  • Min. dose / dose increment: 0.01 mL
  • Max. dose: 0.60 mL
  • Compatible needle type - Compatible with standard and safety pen needles - mylife, Clickfine and Clickfine AutoProtect pen needles recommended

    This line has been uninstalled, and is currently being stored in crates at a warehouse
