Olsa Compounding Skid with 1500 L and 1000 L Stainless Steel Jacketed Tanks
One (1) Skid-Mounted Olsa 1500 Liter Turn-Key Mixing and Homogenizing System for the manufacture of non-sterile topical derm pharmaceutical products. This system adheres to Olsa’s “Full Batch Cycle” approach and includes the following six (6) main components:
Unit designed for full vacuum operation (- I BarG) and internal pressure to 58 psig (4BarG), at 316°F (158°C). Includes ASME code stamp and National Board registration.
Unit to be rated for operation in a non-classified environment.
AGITATING AND HOMOGENIZING SYSTEM: Agitation system for mixing and homogenizing high viscosity formulations, up to 1 million cps, consists of two independently driven top-entering coaxial agitators and one bottom mounted homogenizing turbine, including:
Outer anchor agitator with self-adjusting Teflon scrapers driven at 5-20 rpm by a 10 HP, 460 volt, 3 phase, 60 Hz, TEFC motor.
Internal counter-rotating blades driven at 15 - 52 rpm by a 7.5 HP, 460 volt, 3 phase, 60 Hz, TEFC motor.
Outer anchor and inner counter-rotating blades have reversible rotation capability foraid in clean-in-place (CIP) operations.
Bottom mounted “toothed rotor/stator” type homogenizing turbine driven at 1200-3600 rpm by a 40 HP, 460 volt, 3 phase, 60 Hz, TEFC motor.
Homogenizer includes powder suction porting for vacuum induction of raw ingredients directly into the high shear zone of the rotor / stator. Connection to the powder induction port is a 1-1/2” Triclamp.
Variable speed is accomplished through the use of AC variable frequency inverter drives to be located in control enclosure.
All motors, instruments and sensors on the unit to be wired to a junction box on the outside of the vessel.
Coaxial shaft sealing arrangement utilizes single mechanical seals with EPDM 0-rings.
VACUUM I PRESSURE MIXING VESSEL: Stainless steel type 31 6L vacuum / pressure vessel with dished bottom to include the following:
Stainless steel type 304 baffled jacket on the sides and bottom rated for 87 psig (6 BarG), at 347°F (175°C). Includes ASME code stamp and National Board registration.
Jacket is insulated with non-chloride insulating material with type 304 stainless steel sheathing fully welded to vessel.

Please be aware this equipment is located in Brazil.
Brazilian laws for imports and exports are very specific and different from all other countries in South America. It’s therefore important to understand Brazil’s export regulations/policies to move goods across borders.
EquipNet’s Brazilian sellers never export equipment by themselves, which means they do not conduct transactions/business with foreign companies, only with Brazilian legal entities.
International buyers are responsible for hiring, by their own expenses, a trading company. This trading company is a Brazilian legal entity, duly registered with CNPJ (National Registry of Legal Entities) and RADAR (Registry and records of customs and customs-related agents).
The trading company legal entity will acquire the equipment from the Brazilian seller, pay the seller in local currency, and receive the related invoice from the seller in the name of their Brazilian legal entity. After this process, the ownership will then be transferred to the trading company who will be responsible for export and assistance during the customs clearance process.
The international freight quote is also necessary for the transaction process. EquipNet is happy to provide support throughout this process. Please contact sales for more information.
