The FOA series sterilizers are designed to sterilize with humid heat, with an air / steam mixture in counter-pressure, and are therefore suitable for treating materials and containers that would be damaged in saturated steam cycles due to the pressure inside the containers themselves. Magnetically driven fans force a high rate of fluid circulation within the chamber. Internal sanitary hollow plates add additional heating/cooling capacity whilst minimizing condensate creation. Steam and air are injected according to the control algorithms to finely control the process. This system is the usual choice where terminally sterilized products are to be unloaded dry.

In the sterilization process the following main activities are distinguished: autoclave preparation; load sterilization; load cooling; final stage. The machine basically has two operating modes. The first, defined as the EMPLOYMENT operating mode, allows you to operate with the machine by giving simple orders, safely controlling it, from start-up to the end of the process and finally obtaining reports and / or messages confirming the successful outcome of the activity. The second operating mode, defined MAINTENANCE. In this operating mode, it is possible to modify the behavior of the machine indefinitely and substantially and, consequently, the piloting of fluids and liquids in the system with all that may ensue. The sterilizer is controlled by means of the computerized system THEMA4. It presides over the main drives, the supervision and control of the hardware making up the machine, organizing the activation of the operating sequences relating to the specific programmed sterilization cycle. The autoclave is equipped with trolleys and trays for transporting the products. The autoclave doors are of the horizontal sliding type. Product and sterilizing medium contact parts are made of AISI 316 stainless steel while trolleys in AISI 304. The FOA series machine is designed to process materials such as closed vials, bottles and syringes, in glass or plastic. The pressure sterilization chamber is a horizontally arranged cylindrical section body made of AISI 316 TI stainless steel in which the material to be processed is placed.
