This piece of equipment gives the possibility to satisfy various granulating size requirements with the help of roller press and rotary fine granulator sifter screen. This equipment can be tailored to an extremely wide range of applications. The unit is equipped with a detachable fine granulator RFG 150N and gear motor SKM/R. Due to of its modular design, the WP 150 can be almost completely disassembled without special tools.
Compacting with roller presses is a highly efficient way of compacting bulk materials. The starting material is compacted in the roller compaction via two counter-rotating rollers. Among other things, roller presses of the WP series are characterized by their particularly gentle comminution. Furthermore, the compression process is unique, as the vertically arranged rollers, in conjunction with a special control logic, continuously produce slugs of consistent thickness and density, which is essential for a consistent granule quality.
The rotary fine granulator is designed for size reduction by means of rotor fine granulation in a continuous process. Dry agglomerated or slightly moist material is processed to granules. In fine granulation, a rotor runs in a diagonal positioned screen. Crushing is effected by the rotor bars and compression. The rotor pulls the virgin product into the working gap and crushes it allowing the material to pass through the mesh.
