has (2) Thermal Oxidizer Units that are being sold as one system. The first unit is a 0-400 scfm and the second unit is smaller 0-67 scfm. The units come with precondensers and receivers, After burner (1600*F), quench tank and scrubber system. The unit is designed for 25 tons per year. The unit is a 1992 model.
Design Criteria: Flow Rates Stream #1 0-67 SCFM and Stream #2 0-400 SCFM. Design Hydrocarbons: 0-8 lbs Methylene Chloride an 0-8 lbs Methanol. Vent gas Temperature: 10 - 100*F. Design Inceneration Temperature: 1600*F. Design Residence Time: 0.9 seconds. Design Destruction Efficiency of Oragnics: 99.0%. Total Hydrocarbon Emission: 50 ppm max. CO Emission: 100 ppm Max. HCL Removal Efficiency: 99.0% or 2.5 lbs per hr. No visible stack plume.
The T-Thermal SUB-X incenerator system consists of a forced draft downfired incenerator, SUB-X quench tank, packed scrubber tower and stack. The vent gases are introduced into the Vortex burner through the injector and windbox assembly where they are mixed with natural gas. The mixture is ignited in the combustion chamber by the natural gas feed through the main burner. The hot gases then passes into the oxidation chamber. In the oxidation chamber, the organics are oxidized to carbon dioxide, water and HCL. These gases, along with the nitrogen and excess oxygen, exit the oxidation chamber and enter the SUB-X quench tank via a water washed downcomer tube. The intimate contact provided by the SUB-X arrangement effectively quenches the flue gases and absorbs part of the hydrogen chloride into the water. The remaining gases carryover, exit the quench tank at approximately 140*F and flow into the pcked scrubber where the remaining HCL is removed.
