Equipment Description:

Apex, SSU2-MF, Rotating knife mill, Stainless Steel, mounted on a fully guarded moblie frame.

The mill was used to mill the pre-blended Isocid pellet powder mixture, at the rate of 480 kgs / hour, so that it would pass through an internally mounted S/s 1mm diameter mesh screen, prior to being discharged through a 140mm diameter outlet from a height of 800mm into a Stainless Steel 500mm diameter x 720mm high collection bin, ready to be used for mixing, with a metered water supply, in the Collete mixer unit.

The mill is fitted with 2895 RPM drive motor, mounted on adjustable slides, which drives the mill via 2 sets of alternative drive pulleys; a) Driver = 110mm Driven = 75mm, or b) Driver = 240mm Driven = 105mm

The Mill is fully enclosed by the overhead, hinged, gas strut assisted, interlocked, combined Stainless steel guard / product feed shute into the 140mm x 150mm mesh guarded product inlet.

The mill is all supported on a S/s single column mobile frame, which is supported by 4 off lockable swivel castors.
