Equipment Description:

Ceram 500 Litre Stainless Steel Coned and Vented Feed Hopper, manufactured in 1984, for storing Sodium Bicarbonate powder, which passes through the 5th Floor of Tower 1, and is mounted on 3 off Side Lugs, supported from the surrounding 5th floor.
  • The 1400mm diameter flat hopper top is fitted with 2 off vibrating level probes, a 25mm diameter CIP feed, a top hinged and clamped Inspection panel that measures 450 x 350mm, and a 1200 x 1200mm top mounted DCE Vokes Dalamatic Dust Extractor Filter unit, fitted with a side mounted hinged and clamped Inspection panel, that measures 400mm wide x 500mm high, and a 90 degree side mounted Explosion Relief Vent, that measures 600mm wide x 1100mm high.
  • The 1400mm hopper top cones down through the 5th floor to a 250mm diameter over a vertical height of 3700mm. On the top side of the coned hopper is fitted a 90mm diameter tangentially side mounted S/s product feed blowline. On the bottom of the coned side is fitted 2 off pneumatic Vibrator units, using 6Bar compressed air.
  • Under the 250mm hopper coned base outlet is fitted a 250mm actuated butterfly valve, which discharges the Sodium Bicarbonate powder into a Rotaval HD 250, S/No 1036402, S/s Rotary Valve feeder unit. This 415/3/50/0.75Kw driven rotary valve meters the product into the 4th floor mounted Pre-mix S/s Hopper on demand, see Listing No 246711.
