Equipment Description:

Cruanas powder handling and Hammer milling system, consists of a S/s coned floor standing Powder Hopper that feeds the pre-mixed powder into Hammer Mill, to milled to a consistent size, prior to discharging into a S/s Mobile tub, mounted on top of a floor mounted weighscale. The operation all being controlled from a shared S/s floor mounted Control Panel cabinet, fitted with a dedicated Magelis Operator Interface control unit.
  • Item 1, S/s coned floor standing 900mm diameter x 700mm deep Powder Hopper, fitted with a side mounted Sack/Drum emptying pneumatic lifting aid, an internal safety grill, under which is fitted a bottom mounted 0.75Kw motor driven bridgebreaker unit, that feed the powder into the inlet of the mouth of the 80mm diameter x 1500mm long plastic tubed S/s screwfeeder, driven by a 0.75 Kw drive, that is delivers the powder to the adjacent milling room where the Fitzmill is sitauated, mounted on its stand. The powder hopper measures 1.9 x 0.95 x 2.45m high, with the attached 1.4 x 0.55m wide Sack/Drum lifter raised, and weighs together with the attached screwfeeder approx 400 Kgs.
  • Item 2, S/s Hammer mill is driven by a 380v/3phase/50Hz 15Kw Drive, and is mounted on a 1.65m high S/s floor standing Frame. The Hammer mill has a removable S/s Inlet adaptor which measures 130mm diameter for the quick-release connection to the overhead Screwfeeder discharge and a 290 x 230mm clampable interlocked outlet for connecting to the Hammer mill inlet. The Hammer mill 250 x 230mm outlet is also fitted with a clamped interlocked discharge tub filling cone that measures 300mm diameter, and is 950mm height above the floor mounted weighscales. The Fitzmill & Stand maesures 1.9 x 0.95 x 2.45m high, and weighs approx 400 Kgs.
  • Item 3, Floor mounted S/s Weighscale, with attached front ramp, measuring 1000 x 600 x 100mm high, and weighs approx 50 Kgs
  • Item 4, Shared Cruanas powder handling and hammer milling system S/s floor mounted Control / Magelis Operator Interface Panel, this double doored cabinet measures 1.2 x 0.45 x 2m high, and weighs approx 300 kgs.
  • Item 5, S/s Mobile Tub, for transporting milled powder to Packing Dept, is mounted on 4 swivel castors, at the top is 900mm in diameter coned to 250mm diameter bottom over 600mm, where a 250mm manual butterfly valve is fitted, which has a 130mm ground clearance. The top of the S/s Mobile Tub is fitted with a flat cover, with a 350mm diameter filling hole in its centre covered by a lift off lid. Overall S/s Mobile Tub measurements are 900 diameterx950mm high, approx weight 150 Kgs
