Equipment Description:

GEC Alsthom PL 50 Double Hydro Liquid ring Vacuum Pumping Skid

Item 1, The 3.9m long x 2.6m wide skid is fitted with 2 off GEC Alsthom PL 50 Double Hydro Liquid ring Vacuum Pumps, fitted with 150mm diameter Inlet & Outlet manifold connections to an adjacent skid mounted vertical S/s Vacuum LIquid Ring Water Receiver, which is 600mm in diameter x 1300mm Straight Side, fitted with 150mm diameter inlet and a 250mm diameter flanged outlet piped connection. The Vacuum receiver is fitted with a side mounted 80cm glass water level indicator.

The receivers internal water level is maintained by an adjacent skid mounted 50mm diameter piped water pumping system, which maintains the liquid ring vacuum sealing of the vacuum pumps via the receiver.

Each Vacuum Pump is rated to operate at 1355 RPM, with their Liquid Sealing Rings operating with a 115 L/min water supply at 0.5-1 Bar pressure, and is triple belt driven from a dedicated overhead mounted 75 Kw drive, rotating at 1465 RPM.

The supporting skid framework is fitted with 4 off lifting lugs.
