Equipment Description:

The system installed is an air pollution control device designed to treat an exhaust stream from a pharmaceutical process which can contain either chlorinated or non chlorinated hydocarbons. It consists of a 3 canister regenerative thermal oxidiser plus a wet scrubber system.

The thermal oxidiser destroys the VOC's and converts to carbon dioxide and water vapour that can be emitted to the atomsphere within the legislative limits. This process will also convert any chlorinated hydro carbons into HCI and the scrubber system is designed to remove these acid gases before the ultimate dicharge of a clean air system.

The unit was designed to meet the following conditions:

Throughput-3500Nm3/hr

Maximum allowable throughput of chlorinated solvents 4.7Kgs/hr

Nonchlorinated 31.75Kgs/hr.

Destruction efficiencey 99%

Thermal efficiencey 95%.

Oxidation temperature 1100degC.

Removal is extremely difficult as exotic materials were used in its manufacture and being of a fragile nature, would recommend specialist removal(original manufacturer).
Careful analysis will be required prior to using the system on an alternative emmission source to ensure that it is capable of achieving any different parameters.

Buyer is responsible for dismantling & for all the costs incurred in the removal process. The unit is also purchased in the condition as inspected without any warranty's.
