  • Agitation is controlled by a bottom mounted magnetically coupled agitator and associated VFD
  • A Bionet utility tower is also mounted on the skid which includes Foundation fieldbus pH, DO, and Temperature modules. The unit follows SIP protocols (Steam In Place), or CIP (Clean In Place) protocols to enable sterilization of the media while it is loaded in the vessel

  • Note: A BioNet Controller System cabinet and computers is available. If all six fermentor are bought as a package this is strongly recommended. The BioNet Control System cabinet contains most of the DeltaV hardware and is mounted on the wall and is the “brain” of the system. It has redundant controller modules where the control program for the fermenter resides and has various types of communication modules that are connected to the individual fermenter Bionet towers and the Beckman spectrophotometer as well as the Mass Spectrometer. There are three computers that go with the Bionet Control System. Ask your sales representative for price and more information.
