Equipment Description:

Mapimpianti Pasta Extruder Model Alfa C

this pasta extruder is from a noodle line that was doing between 475-500 LBS/HR of pasta noodles, the product rates were restricted because of the dryer that was originally on the line. The ribbon for the pasta was approximately 36" wide & 1/8" thick and the noodles where cut to 2" x 10" (these dimensions are adjustable)

metering equipment to feed the flour and water + other ingrediants is an automatically controlled volumetric type metering system.
product is than fed into the mixer were the flour is pulverized by the Turbo Spray and mixed in the mixer portion of the extruder. The product coming from the mixing tank is driven into the extruder barrel by a compression screw
