Equipment Description:

Mega-Tech Model GC-6B Liquid Filler Capper Combination
  • 304 stainless steel construction
  • Six (6) head filler
  • Cap Feeder
  • Three sizes of bottles were filled on this line: 375ml, 750ml, and Liter. The manual specifies a range of 300ml to Liter
  • The speed ran was about 12 bottles a minute, but the unit can run much faster than tha,t as the previous service was a custom bottle that is tapered, wide at the top and narrow at the base. This bottle required more handling and slowed down the line speed. A more standard bottle can be run much faster, as the slow running speed was not due to the capabilities of the machine but the restrictions of previous bottle design. This filling line was designed for bottles with uniform sides that would be able to butt against each other without knocking themselves over
  • The closure size that the unit is designed for is 37mm in diameter and 63mm tall
  • The specification page of the manual (included as an attachment) is a bit cryptic. There is a “productive ability of 4-5 times/min”. This refers to the number of filling cycles per minute. At six bottles a cycle that would put the theoretical maximum speed of the line at 24-30 bottles per minute. The volume of the container being filled and the size of the bottle would account for the variability of the speeds
  • Table is not included with filling line, but is available at a separate negotiated price
  • Previous service was in a distillery
  • Unit is in excellent condition
