Equipment Description:

Silverson Vertical Spindle Lifting Head High Shear 250 Litre Drum Blender and CIP System
  • The Mixer is fitted with a 180mm diameter x 30mm high 3 bladed impeller mounted on the end of a 1300mm long x 90mm diameter drive shaft.
  • The Vertical Mixer Overhead Drive Head is capable of being lifted by a motorised chain lift system to give a Mixing Head Ground Clearance height of 1060mm high, ie above the top of the 1m high 250 Litre S/s Gelatine Stoage Drums that need to be placed under it for blending.
  • The Mixer head when not in use is surrounded by the drop down S/s CIP Shroud, which is used to contain the CIP Cleaning water.
  • The Blending Machine measures 1 x 0.8 x 3.1m high, and weighs approx 3000 Kgs.
  • The Blender is controlled from an adjacent wall mounted Control Panel, which measures 450 x 200 x 600mm high, and weighs approx 100 Kgs.
