Zalkin CA4 360 NG Rotary Automated Capping machine and Turntable mounted Alternative Feeder system, CE Rated
Item 1, Zalkin Capper is a Left to Right hand configured machine, which is capable of automatically screw pressure capping 2 types of plastic cap, sized either 55 x 39 x 23mm high, or 60 x 35 x 40mm high, at the rate of 7200 bottles / hour.
The 200-500ml bottles which measure between 50 - 100mm diameter x 100- 170mm high, are fed into the machine via the 1150mm long x 870mm high x 65mm wide side guided slat conveyor, to the infeed timing scroll, prior to to being capped under one of the 4 off Zalkin screw pressure capping heads. The good capped bottles being then discharged via the 2500mm long x 800mm high x 65mm side guided slat conveyor. Reject bottles being discharged via the adjacent 1600mm long x 800mm high 65mm wide side guided reject slat conveyor.
The machine is controlled by means of the front mounted Operator Control panel, linked to the S/s side mounted main Control Panel containing the Siemens S7-300 PLC Control unit.
The Zalkin Capper measures 5.4m long x 1.45m wide x 2.67m high, and weighs approx 2 Tonnes.
Item 2, Zalkin turntable mounted Alternative dual Cap Sorter / feeder system, fitted with 2 off Zalkin U1000 Type 62001, Cap Sorter / feeder units, which each measure 1000mm diameter x 300mm high, and are each rated to automatically feed upto 7200 caps / hour, via their guided cap gravity feed shutes to the infeed of the Zalkin capping m/c.
The 2 off Sorter / Feeders are either dedicated to Caps sized either 55 x 39 x 23mm high, or 60 x 35 x 40mm high, which they discharge into their gravity feed system at a height of 1650mm. However, this discharge height can altered by means of the Turntable support / lifting system, which is used when changing Cap feed types, and swopping Cap Feeders.
This Zalkin turntable mounted Alternative dual Cap Sorter / feeder system, measures 2.65 x 1.4 x 2.3m high, and weighs approx 1 tonne.
Item 3, Zalkin, ECT 400 L, Type 80149, Stainless steel mobile Cap Elevator, for feeding the 2 off alternative Caps into their dedicated Sorting / Feeding M/c's. This flighted belt elevator, takes the manually unloaded caps from the 850 x 800 x 600mm deep S/s hopper, and discharges them into either of the 2 off dedicated Sorting / Feeding M/c's at a height of 1350mm. The hopper is fitted with a hinged macralon lid, and the Elevator is mounted on 4 swivel castors.
This Zalkin elevator measures 2.55 x 0.9 x 3.2m high, and weighs approx 500 Kgs.
Item 4, Pallet of Zalkin Capping M/c and Feeder unit Changeparts / Gravity Feed Guided Conveyors, plus Complete set of OEM Manuals, PI&D, PLC, Pneumatic Drawings. Measures 1.2 x 0.8 x 0.7m high, and weighs approx 300 Kgs.
