Equipment Description:

Please note: This equipment is currently in storage and not located at its original location.

  • Unit is unused and still in orig. crate
  • Model: UPS 1070
  • Serial #: 51/160
  • Machine is set up for coldforming (alu-alu) the thermoforming stations have been removed
  • Maximum output: 300 blisters per minute (depending on application)
  • Maximum number of blister lanes: 4
  • Maximum forming foil width: 294.6mm
  • Maximum forming depth: 3.38mm
  • Maximum blister size: 86mm (web direction) x 66.4mm (across web direction)
  • Electrics: 480volt, 60hz, 3ph, 65amp
  • Air requirement: 8 bar (116 psi) @ 2050 cu. liters per minute (approx. 72 cfm)
  • The ET section of the machine runs at 1/3 the speed of the MT section. Keep in mind that this can be changed based on the tooling format that is installed. The slower ET index was running at 20 -25 indexes / min. The MT ran 3x as fast
  • The ET section was making 12 - 2x3 blister cards (3 rows of 4 cards per row) per ET index. The MT section was punching 1 row (4 cards) per MT index.
