Agilent Cary 60 G6860A UV-Vis Spectrophotometer with C Technologies SoloVPE Variable Pathlength Syst

Agilent Cary 60 UV-Vis spectrophotometer (product no. G6860A) configured with a C Technologies SoloVPE variable pathlength system. The Cary 60 is a double-beam benchtop UV-Vis instrument with a xenon flash lamp source that fires only during measurement, a 190-1100 nm wavelength range, a fixed spectral bandwidth of approximately 1.5 nm and scan/slew rates up to 24,000 nm/min, allowing a full-range scan in about three seconds. Because the xenon source pulses rather than burning continuously, there is no warm-up requirement and photosensitive samples see minimal light exposure. This unit is fitted with C Technologies SoloVPE slope-spectroscopy hardware: the fibrette coupler, fiber optic cable and vertical drive/sample stage assembly are mounted in the sample compartment, as shown in photos 2 and 3. SoloVPE performs variable pathlength UV-Vis measurement for concentration determination of protein and other high-absorbance samples without dilution. A VPT support contact label from C Technologies is affixed to the sample compartment cover (photo 1). The rear panel nameplate (photo 4) identifies product no. G6860A, serial no. MY21139221, year-month of manufacture 2021-03, made in Malaysia, with CE, CSA C/US, RCM and KC marks. Rear connections include Accessory, USB, AUX and a 12 V DC 3.2 A power input supplied by an external Agilent power supply that runs from 100-240 V AC, 47-63 Hz single phase. The instrument is a benchtop unit sitting free on a laboratory bench and appears complete and externally clean in the photos. No operational testing, computer, software licence, cables or additional SoloVPE accessories are documented; sold as pictured.
