Equipment Description
Allsheng MB100-4A Microplate Thermo-Shaker, a benchtop mixing and incubation instrument designed to shake and heat one to four standard 96-well microplates at the same time. The unit combines orbital shaking with a heated platform, with heating elements above and below the plates via the hinged insulated lid, giving close agreement between set and actual well temperature. Per the manufacturer's published data for this model, the temperature control range is approximately ambient +5 C to 70 C with 0.1 C setting resolution, and the shaking speed range is approximately 100 to 1500 rpm, with a programmable timer and an end-of-run beep. The front panel carries an LCD showing set and actual temperature, speed and time, along with start/stop, set, off and up/down keys. Photo 3 shows the rear nameplate: Hangzhou Allsheng Instruments Co., Ltd., Thermo Shaker, Model MB100-4A, input AC110V 50-60Hz, serial number 071-16028-21010002, manufacture date January 2021, CE marked. A USB port, an IEC inlet with fused switch and the main power switch are also on the rear. The unit is shown as a standalone benchtop instrument with its four-position microplate platform and clamping bars in place, and a detachable IEC power cord coiled with it in photos 1 and 2. No operating condition or performance check is recorded in the field notes, and the display is not powered in any photo of this unit. Cosmetically the housing shows light handling marks and an inventory tag; no accessories beyond the power cord are shown.
