Equipment Description
AB Sciex QTRAP 5500 LC/MS/MS system paired with a Shimadzu Nexera X2 HPLC front end. The QTRAP 5500 is a triple quadrupole / linear ion trap hybrid mass spectrometer with a Turbo V ion source, used for quantitative LC/MS/MS work such as small molecule and bioanalytical assays. The instrument nameplate reads Assy. No. 1024945, Rev. AV, Ser. No. AU28731203 (photo 11), and the housing carries CE and CSA marks. The curtain plate / source housing is fitted and an MDS Sciex assembly 1025134 (ser. 21568080313) is labeled on the source-side vacuum interface (photo 19).

The Shimadzu Nexera X2 front end photographed with it consists of two Nexera X2 LC-30AD liquid chromatograph pumps (ser. L20554950549 and L20554950552, 100-240V, 150VA), a Nexera SIL-30AC autosampler (ser. L20564950205, 100-120V, 300VA) with a 50 uL sample loop assembly installed, a CTO-20A Prominence column oven (ser. L20204951701, 120V, 600VA), a CBM-20A communications bus module (ser. L20234953644, 100-120V, 400VA), a DGU-20A5R Prominence degassing unit (ser. L20704960164) and a Shimadzu reservoir tray (ser. L20304927007) holding solvent bottles. All modules are nameplated 50/60 Hz, single phase.

As photographed the system is set up and plumbed on a laboratory bench, with solvent and rinse lines labeled, PEEK transfer tubing running from the LC stack to the mass spectrometer source, and an HP monitor on a bench arm alongside. Condition was not verified beyond the photographs; no vacuum pump, PC, software or operating data was documented with this listing, and the mass spectrometer's power-on status was not recorded.
