Equipment Description
Agilent 1100 Series preparative HPLC system configured for purification-scale work. The stack consists of two G1361A Preparative Pumps (serial numbers DE43601163 and DE23900472), a G1314A Variable Wavelength Detector (serial number JP92111250) and a G1328B manual injector (serial number DE11400445), together with the Agilent solvent bottle tray seen on top of the stack. The G1361A preparative pump is a dual-piston-in-parallel pump with a settable flow range of 0.001 to 100 mL/min and an operating pressure range up to 400 bar, so the two pumps together support high-flow binary gradient preparative separations. Detection is by the G1314A variable wavelength UV detector, fitted with an Agilent preparative high-pressure flow cell visible in photo 2. Sample introduction is manual through the G1328B injection valve rather than an autosampler. The modules run on 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz single-phase power and connect to a chromatography data system by CAN/LAN cabling. The photos show the system set up and plumbed on a laboratory bench, with solvent bottles and inlet lines in place, a wash/waste line running to a beaker on a ring stand, and an in-line filter/valve assembly mounted alongside. Green status indicators are lit on the module front panels in photos 1 and 4, indicating the stack was energized at the time of the visit. A separate Agilent tray and lab stand appear beside the stack in photos 1 and 6. No column, computer, software or fraction collector is documented in the photos; condition, service history and functional testing beyond the lit status indicators have not been verified.

Powers On Explanations
