Equipment Description
Agilent Technologies G1364E 1260 Infinity II Preparative-Scale Fraction Collector (1260 FC-PS). This is a standalone HPLC stack module used to collect purified fractions from semi-preparative and preparative liquid chromatography runs, typically for milligram to low-gram scale purification. It supports the full range of collection modes (time, peak, threshold, slope and mass-based triggering when combined with a suitable detector or MS) and works with a wide variety of trigger sources within an Agilent 1200/1260/1290 Infinity II stack. The module is designed for typical preparative flow rates in the range of roughly 4 to 100 mL/min and accepts SBS-format plates as well as several tube sizes and lengths via interchangeable trays. Photo 2 shows the collector with the front cover open, a multi-position round-tube collection tray in place, the needle/gripper transport assembly on its linear rail, and collection capillary tubing routed through the housing. The nameplate on the rear (photo 3) reads Product No. G1364E, Serial No. DEAGP00548, 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz, 200 VA, CE marked, made in Germany with a build date of 2021-04-27. The unit is a benchtop module measuring approximately 19 x 16 x 10 inches with an estimated shipping weight of 45 lbs. In the photos it is sitting loose on a lab bench, removed from its stack, with a tinted front door, an EquipNet inventory tag and a facility label reading "HP 25 Fraction Collector" on the front panel. No power-on test, operating hours or included accessories beyond what is visible in the photos are documented; the unit is offered as-is and should be evaluated from the photos.
