Equipment Description
Agilent Technologies G7161A 1260 Infinity II Preparative Binary Pump, serial number DEAGM00620. The G7161A is a high-pressure binary gradient pump built for semi-preparative and preparative liquid chromatography, delivering a dynamic flow range of 1 to 50 mL/min at pressures up to 420 bar and supporting columns from roughly 9.4 to 30 mm internal diameter. Its dual-piston, rapid-refill design forms the gradient on the high-pressure side, so the module can be run without a separate degasser. The module is a stand-alone stack component with no detector, autosampler or column compartment included. Photo 2 shows the front doors open on the two pump channels, each with a pair of 50 mL pump heads, the Channel A / Channel B inlet manifold and mixer, the multi-purpose (purge) valve and the associated solvent tubing. Photo 3 shows the rear panel with the Agilent nameplate reading Product No. G7161A and Serial No. DEAGM00620, the CE mark, the IEC power inlet and the CAN, LAN, USB and E-REMOTE communication ports used to integrate the pump into an InfinityLab LC stack. Electrically the module runs on a universal 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz single-phase supply. It is a benchtop unit sitting free on a laboratory bench in the photos, carrying the seller's green asset tag 0270. No power cord, solvent bottles, tubing kit, software or other accessories are shown in the photos, and no operating or service history was recorded at the time of the visit.
