Equipment Description
the top of the first conveyor and the other is mounted on the bottom side of the
second conveyor. The first label applicator applies the label to the top panel of
the bag and the second label application applies the label to the bottom panel of
the bag. The labeled products then travel to an application roller where the label
is adhered to the bag.
The process starts by placing a bag onto the infeed of the conveyor. The bags will
then travel to the top hold down rail where they are captured and controlled
prior to the labeling process. After the first top label is applied the bag will then
travel to the split between the two conveyors where the label will be fed from the
bottom up and adhered to the bag. The bag will then travel to the secondary
application roller where pressure will be applied to ensure adhesion has
completed. The press is repeated each time a new product is detected at the
labeling heads.
