Equipment Description
The Autobag PS 125 PaceSetter is a hand-load, tabletop automatic bagger used to open, load and seal pre-opened AUTOBAG brand bags-on-a-roll. The all-electric design needs no compressed air, and the machine indexes each bag into the load position so the operator can hand-load the product and seal it, making it suited to low- to mid-volume packaging of small parts, devices and components. This unit was in service at a medical device facility and carries an asset tag from that site. The nameplate on the rear panel (photo 3) identifies it as a PS 125 Table Top Bagger, part number 597000A1, Rev. J, serial number AP00027312, manufacturing date 03/13, built in the USA and CE marked. Electrical data on the plate is 90/132 VAC 60 Hz at 5 FLA (115 VAC typical input) or 180/264 VAC 50 Hz at 2.7 FLA (230 VAC typical input), single phase, with a machine weight of 82 lbs (37.2 kg). Published manufacturer data for the model lists speeds up to 25 bags per minute, bag sizes of 2 to 10.5 in wide by 4 to 17 in long, bag thickness of 1.0 to 4.0 mil, and product pass-through of up to 3.4 in. The photos show the hinged front and side access covers open, the heated seal bar and honeycomb bag-path area, the stainless load shelf, the swing-down bag roll cradle with a partial roll of film still in place, a bag-position scale on the lower front panel, and the keypad/display control panel on the left side. A detachable IEC power inlet and power switch are at the rear. The machine is complete and assembled, sitting loose on a pallet at the seller's facility; no condition testing or operating history was reported by the field rep.
