Equipment Description
Autobag PS 125 table top bagger from Automated Packaging Systems (AUTOBAG brand). The PS 125 is a compact, hand-load automatic bagging system that indexes pre-opened bags on a roll, opens the bag for product loading and then heat seals it, operating at speeds of up to 25 bags per minute in a low- to mid-volume packaging environment. The unit is a tabletop machine with a keypad and LCD control panel on the left-hand column providing Start/Stop, Reset, Main, Settings, Config and Job keys with a numeric keypad for job setup and bag counting. The nameplate (photo 4) identifies it as a PS 125 Table Top Bagger, part no. 597000A1 Rev. J, serial AP00101704, manufacture date 02/20, single phase, CE marked and made in the USA. It is rated for 115/230 VAC, 50/60 Hz single phase operation. Typical bag handling for this model is roll-fed bags from about 2 in to 10.5 in wide and up to 17 in long in 1.0 to 4.0 mil film. Photos show the machine sitting in an open shipping carton with packing material; a roll of bag film is still mounted on the lower bag feed spindle (photo 3), and the hinged sealer access covers with over-center latches, the sealing bar with caution label and the product support shelf are in place. A sales contact label is affixed to the front column. No display was lit in the photos, so operation was not verified, and no power cord, bag roll stand or other accessories are confirmed in the images. Overall dimensions are approximately 26 in long x 21 in wide x 20 in high with an estimated shipping weight of 110 lbs; the machine ships as one piece.
