Equipment Description
Baxter Repeater Pharmacy Pump, part number H938 099R, a benchtop peristaltic pump used in pharmacy compounding and admixture operations for automated, repeatable fluid transfers. The pump drives a disposable Repeater tube set, so the fluid path never contacts the pump itself, and it is sized to fit inside a standard laminar flow hood or on a pharmacy bench. The membrane keypad on the front provides a numeric entry pad with Volume (source volume), Low/Med/High speed selection, Drawback (memory store), Adjust, Interval (function), Clear Units Filled (preset quantity), Reverse (memory recall) and Start/Stop keys. A three-window display reads out volume in mL, units filled and interval in seconds, allowing preset batch quantities and timed repeat dispensing. Per Baxter's published data the Repeater transfers volumes from 0.2 mL up to 9,999 mL at flow rates to approximately 13.5 mL per second with a 16 gauge needle, using multiple speed combinations plus reverse. A hinged clear door over the pump head must be closed for the pump to run. The nameplate reads Baxter Healthcare Corporation, Part No. H938 099R, Serial No. PL0008909, date 2019-03-01, 120 Volts, 60 Hz, 200 VA, c-UL-us listed as reconditioned laboratory equipment. The rear panel carries the IEC power inlet and rocker power switch, and the right side has a labeled FOOT CONTROL connector for an optional foot switch (foot switch not pictured). The unit came out of a medical device / compounding pharmacy facility and carries a facility asset label and an orange "Calibrated at time of use" sticker dated Aug 24, 2022. No tube sets, foot control or other accessories are shown in the photos. Approximate footprint 14 x 10 x 13 inches.
