Equipment Description
Carrier 39MN14W025BGP11XGE indoor central station air handling unit (Aero 39M series), serial 2218U35663, manufactured in 2018 and tagged AHU-5 at the seller's facility. The nameplate identifies the unit as a four-section, draw-through arrangement: (A) mixing box, (B) flat filter section, (C) hot water coil and plenum, and (D) blow-thru supply fan section. It is a doublewall galvanized casing unit built for indoor installation, supplied here with chilled water and hot water piping connections and ducted supply/return connections. The filter section takes flat pre-filters and main filters in (3) 16x20 and (3) 20x20 sizes each bank. The heating coil is a hot water coil and plenum, coil part number 28MHV224FAA059BRNC, rated 300 PSIG maximum operating pressure at 200 F. The supply fan section uses two 5 HP, 1800 RPM motors (fan 39MBH9FVB31314FCCK, motor 93MS0725BA280X0XSB) on a 460/3/60 supply, FLA/MCA/MOCP 6.6/8.3/10 each, 15.4 maximum continuous amps for the unit. Fan speed is controlled by a factory-mounted ABB HVAC variable frequency drive (93VFHJH07D21JBXXBX) with keypad, mounted on the unit exterior alongside an Eaton 30 A, 600 V heavy duty non-fused safety switch/disconnect and a local control enclosure. Chilled water supply/return and hot water piping with isolation and control valves, a condensate connection and insulated piping are shown connected in the photos; the unit is currently installed, piped and ducted in place. Overall dimensions are approximately 168 in. long x 72 in. wide x 62 in. high with an estimated shipping weight of 2,500 lbs. The ABB drive display is illuminated in the photos, indicating the unit is energized. No further condition or service history information was recorded at the time of inspection.
