Equipment Description
Glas-Col 099A EV2012S Evaporator System, a benchtop analytical (nitrogen blow-down) evaporator used to concentrate extracts and reaction mixtures by directing a regulated flow of inert gas over samples held in a heated block. The EV2012S configuration is the 20-position, 120 V version of the Glas-Col evaporator line, built around a single heated aluminum sample block with an electronic temperature controller in the base. The unit photographed consists of the controller base with a digital temperature display, a POWER ON/OFF rocker switch on the front panel and an IEC inlet with fuse holder on the rear, topped by the black anodized heated block assembly with a hot-surface warning label and an attached thermocouple/temperature probe with a compression-style fitting and connector that plugs into the rear of the base. The base stands on four feet for bench use; it is a cord-connected benchtop instrument that requires only a standard 120 V outlet plus a supply of nitrogen or other inert gas to the gas manifold. Condition was not documented beyond the photographs, and the unit was not observed powered on. The gas distribution manifold with needle valves shown behind the instrument in one photo, and the sealed bag of small hardware lying in the block well, were not verified as belonging to this unit; the buyer should confirm what accessories ship with it. Serial number 11815447. Overall approximately 12 x 8 x 7 inches and about 15 lbs as recorded on the listing.
