Equipment Description
The Keyence BZ-X710 is an all-in-one fluorescence microscope that combines a motorized inverted microscope, high-sensitivity monochrome camera, light source and image-analysis PC software into a single enclosed, darkroom-free benchtop unit. It is used for brightfield, phase contrast and multi-channel fluorescence imaging of slides, dishes and plates, including Z-stack full-focus imaging, image stitching and time-lapse acquisition. This unit carries the BZ-X710 nameplate on the front panel and the Keyence serial label 9D710033 on the rear chassis (photo 6). The rear label shows CSA, CE and FCC Class A marks and notes it is for use with the BZ-X700 series. Opening the enclosure (photo 2) shows the motorized stage with a BZ-X wide stage insert installed and the overhead transmitted-light/condenser assembly. The revolving nosepiece is populated with a set of Nikon Plan Apo objectives, with markings visible in photos 3, 4 and 5 including 4X/0.20, 20X and 40X/0.45 color-banded objectives in a six-position turret. Per Keyence published data the BZ-X700 series operates on 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz single phase with a rated input of approximately 250 VA; the microscope body is normally used with a separate BZ-X series light-source/power supply unit and control PC. The unit was photographed in place on a laboratory bench at a biopharmaceutical facility. No information on operating hours, calibration or service history was provided, and the field rep did not record whether the unit powers on. Only the microscope body shown in the photographs is covered by this listing; buyers should confirm which light source, PC and accessories are included.
