Equipment Description
Labconco FlaskScrubber 4420320 undercounter laboratory glassware washer, catalog number 4420320, serial number 171049253, built in 2017. The FlaskScrubber is designed to wash and dry narrow-neck laboratory glassware such as volumetric flasks, graduated cylinders and bottles. Water and detergent are pumped up through spindles in the lower rack so the interior surfaces of the glassware are cleaned directly, and the unit uses a dual pump system (separate wash and drain pumps) to limit cross-contamination. Per Labconco's published data for this catalog number, the washer operates on 115 volts, 60 Hz, single phase at approximately 16 amps (20 amp circuit required), with a stainless steel chamber, forced-air drying and a maximum wash temperature of about 180 F (82 C). Overall exterior dimensions are roughly 24 in wide x 27 in deep x 34-36 in high as an undercounter unit; the listing records 26 x 24 x 35 in and 250 lbs for shipping. Photos show the stainless steel front panel with the FlaskScrubber badge, the keypad and LCD control panel with Run/Cancel and arrow keys, the hinged door with detergent and rinse-aid dispensers, and the chamber interior with the lower spray/spindle manifold. The glassware racks are not shown loaded in the chamber in the photos of this unit, so rack and spindle content should be confirmed. Inlet/outlet tubing is still attached, and a plastic bag is present inside the chamber. The unit carries Central Admixture Pharmacy Services asset labels, a NO CALIBRATION REQUIRED tag and a red OUT OF SERVICE / Calibrate Before Use tag dated Jun 19, 2024. It has been removed from its undercounter location and is shown standing on a stretch-wrapped pallet with a moving blanket taped over the cabinet. Operating condition has not been verified.
