Equipment Description
Millipore Milli-Q IQ 7000 laboratory water purification system with Q-POD remote dispenser. The IQ 7000 is a benchtop/under-counter ultrapure (Type 1) water system that takes pretreated feed water and delivers water of up to 18.2 MOhm-cm resistivity at 25 C, with dispensing flow at the Q-POD of up to approximately 2 L/min, for analytical work, cell culture, media and reagent preparation and general laboratory use. The main unit shown in photo 2 carries the Milli-Q IQ 7000 badge and is installed inside a laboratory base cabinet with its power cord and tubing connected. The instrument label in photo 4 reads Catalog Number ZIQ7000T0, Serial Number F9EA14544, and is mounted on the purification pack bay, which is marked IPAK Meta (upper position) and IPAK Quanta (lower position). Per the manufacturer's data the unit runs on 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz single phase at approximately 350 VA. Photo 1 shows the Q-POD remote dispenser standing on the bench next to the sink, with its tilting touchscreen display, flexible connection hose, articulating dispense arm and a Millipak 0.22 um final filter fitted at the dispense point. The Q-POD nameplate in photo 5 reads Q-POD Remote Dispenser, REF ZIQPOD000, SN F0KB89503, 24-28 V DC, 25 W, built 03-AUG-2020 by Millipore SAS, Molsheim, France, and carries CE, UL and FCC markings. The system was photographed in place and connected in a biopharmaceutical laboratory; the main unit sits in a cabinet and the Q-POD is mounted on the bench, so both will need to be disconnected from feed water, drain and power before removal. No operating test, run hours or service history is recorded, and no purification packs, spare filters or consumables beyond what is visible in the photos are included.
