Equipment Description
PerkinElmer VICTOR X5 2030-0050 multilabel plate reader (Multilabel HTS Reader, manufactured for Wallac Oy, Turku, Finland). The VICTOR X5 is the top model of the VICTOR X benchtop series and is configured for multiple detection technologies in one instrument - luminescence, fluorescence intensity, time-resolved fluorescence, absorbance and fluorescence polarization - using filter-based optics with top and bottom reading of microplates from 1 to 384 wells. The unit is a self-contained benchtop reader with a motorized plate loading drawer operated by the front LOAD button and a filter/optics compartment accessible from the top of the instrument. Photo 2 shows the open plate chamber with the plate carrier and transport in place; photo 3 shows the internal filter wheel and drive assembly under the top cover. The identification plate on the front lower panel reads VICTOR X5, 2030-0050, Serial No. 20300160, with a PerkinElmer Quality Control PASSED Inspection sticker (photo 4). Overall footprint is approximately 24 in long x 20 in wide x 14 in high; the instrument runs on standard single-phase laboratory mains power. The instrument carries a PerkinElmer OneSource service label on the front left corner (photo 1) showing a service date of OCT 2022 and next preventive maintenance due OCT 2023, with calibration and OQ marked N/A. It was photographed in place on a laboratory bench (LAB BENCH 1340-08) at a biopharmaceutical facility. No computer, software dongle, filters inventory, dispenser accessories or cabling are confirmed in the photos; operating condition was not demonstrated during the site visit. Buyers should confirm the installed filter set and required software separately.
