Equipment Description

Automated Packaging Systems Autobag PS 125 PaceSetter tabletop bagging machine. The PS 125 is a compact automatic bagger for hand-loaded products. It feeds pre-opened bags from a roll, opens each bag for loading, then heat seals it. It suits low- to mid-volume packaging and is rated at up to 25 bags per minute. The nameplate (photo 5) shows model PS125, serial AP00105072, built in 2020. It is single phase and runs on 90-132 V or 180-264 V at 50/60 Hz, rated at 0.6 kW. It is CE marked and weighs 82 lbs (37 kg). The model handles bags about 2 in to 10.5 in wide and up to 17 in long, in film 1.0 to 4.0 mil thick. The operator panel on the left column has an LCD display, arrow keys and a numeric keypad. It also has Start/Stop, Reset, Main, Settings, Config and Job keys for setting up jobs and counting bags. The front has a heat-seal bar, a hinged sealing area with stainless latches and a loading shelf with an Autobag product guide. At the back, the bag-roll unwind area holds a roll of bags (photo 4), next to the power entry with its switch and power cord. The machine came from a medical device facility. It carries an asset tag and a "No Calibration Required" label dated 2023 (photo 3).
