Bio-Rad PowerPac Basic Electrophoresis Power Supply

The Bio-Rad PowerPac Basic is a compact benchtop electrophoresis power supply used for routine nucleic acid and protein separations, including agarose gel electrophoresis, polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and semi-dry blotting. It delivers programmable constant voltage or constant current output with a timed run function, selected from a sealed membrane keypad and shown on a single red LED display. The unit is rated 300 V, 400 mA and 75 W as marked on the housing, and runs on 100-120/220-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 150 VA maximum, protected by 2.5 A Type T fuses per the rear nameplate. Four pairs of recessed banana-jack output terminals (two on each side of the front panel) allow up to four cells to be run in parallel.
