BioTek Synergy HTX Multi-Mode Microplate Reader

BioTek (Bio-Tek Instruments) Synergy HTX Multi-Mode Microplate Reader, catalog/REF S1LFTA, serial number 210201F, manufacturing date 2021-02-01 per the rear identification label. The Synergy HTX is a compact benchtop multi-mode reader for 6- to 384-well microplates and Take3 microvolume plates, used for ELISA, protein and nucleic acid quantification, cell-based assays, reporter gene assays and similar routine and high-throughput research work. The S1LFTA configuration is the fully loaded build, supporting absorbance, filter-based fluorescence intensity, time-resolved fluorescence and luminescence detection. Optics are filter/dichroic based with a tungsten halogen lamp for absorbance and fluorescence and a separate flash source for TRF and luminescence. The filter access door is shown open in photo 2: the excitation slide is loaded with 360/40 and 485/20 filters (positions 3 and 4 plugged) and the emission slide with 460/40 and 528/20 (position 3 plugged, position 4 open hole), a typical DAPI/FITC-GFP style set. The lamp assembly and light path diagram are visible on the inside of the access door. The rear panel carries RS-232 and USB communication ports plus a dispenser port and syringe positions for the optional reagent injector module (no dispenser module is shown in the photos). The unit is powered through an external desktop power supply, which is present and connected in photos 3 and 4; rated input is 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, single phase. The identification label shows CE and TUV SUD NRTL marks. Instrument footprint is approximately 18 in L x 16 in W x 11 in H. The reader is shown sitting loose on a bench with an asset tag from the selling facility. No computer, software license, dispenser module or accessories are shown in the photos, and operating condition was not verified at the time of the site visit.
