Carrier 39MN Series Custom Air Handling Unit

Carrier Aero 39MN Series semi-custom indoor central station air handling unit, model 39MN21WL4848411XXE, serial 2818U36619, built in 2018 and tagged OSA-2 in the seller's facility. Unit size 21 corresponds to a nominal airflow of roughly 10,000 CFM in Carrier's 39M range. The cabinet is double-wall galvanized construction with hinged, latched access doors on each section. Per the unit nameplate, the air handler is arranged (A) mixing box, (B) flat filter section with (6) 20x25 pre-filters and (6) 20x25 main filters, (C) chilled water and hot water coil section with plenum, (D) blow-thru supply fan section, and (E) discharge plenum. The chilled water coil (28MCV038DAA065BRNC) and hot water coil (28MHV238FAA065BRNC) are each rated 300 PSIG maximum operating pressure at 200 F. The supply fan section uses two 7.5 HP, 1800 RPM motors on 460V/3-phase/60 Hz power, 9.7/12.1/20 FLA/MCA/MOCP each, 23.0 maximum continuous amps. The unit is photographed as installed, with factory-supplied ABB HVAC variable frequency drives and unit-mounted service switches, Eaton heavy duty safety switches (60 A and 100 A, 600 V) for unit and ancillary power, and Belimo-style actuated outside air and mixing dampers. A DriSteem Vaporstream humidifier control panel, model VLC-48-3 DI (480V, 3 phase, 57.7 A, 48 kW, dated 6/21/2018), is mounted alongside the unit and is shown powered with its Vapor-logic controller displaying space RH. An infrared inspection sticker dated 2025 is on the disconnect enclosure. The unit is currently hard-piped to chilled water, hot water and condensate lines and hardwired to building power, so it will require disconnection by trades and rigging to remove. Overall footprint is approximately 192 in long x 60 in wide x 84 in high with an estimated shipping weight of 3,500 lbs.
