Carrier Aero 39M series indoor central station air handling unit, model 39MN17W025BGJ11XGE, serial 2218U35657, factory-marked AHU-14. The 39MN is a semi-custom, double-wall-cased indoor air handler; unit size 17W is rated by Carrier at approximately 8,500 nominal CFM. The unit is arranged left to right as shown on the nameplate drawing: mixing box, flat filter section, hot water coil and plenum, and a blow-thru supply fan section. The filter section takes (6) 20 x 20 pre-filters and (6) 20 x 20 main filters. The hot water coil (Carrier coil 28MHV224HAA065BRNC) and plenum are rated 300 PSIG maximum operating pressure at 200 degrees F. The blow-thru supply fan section carries two 7.5 HP, 1800 RPM motors (fan 39MBJ9GVB29824MCCK, motor 93MS0825BA290X0XSB) operating on 460V/3-phase/60 Hz, 9.7/12.1/20 FLA/MCA/MOCP each, 23.0 maximum continuous amps for the unit. Supporting electrical hardware mounted on the unit includes an ABB HVAC variable frequency drive with keypad, a local disconnect switch, a control enclosure and an Eaton 60 A, 600 V heavy duty safety switch labeled "Fed From 3PPH1A, Circuits 7, 9, 11". The ABB drive display is lit in the photos. Photos show the unit as it stands in service: set on a housekeeping frame, connected to supply and return ductwork, hot water piping and a copper condensate line, so it must be disconnected and rigged out by trades.
