Carrier model 39MN21W025BGN11XGE custom indoor air handling unit (factory marked AHU-4), serial 2218U35667, built 2022. The unit is a draw-through/blow-thru arrangement housed in an insulated double-wall galvanized casing with hinged, latched access doors on each section and factory-applied access and service labeling. Per the unit nameplate the air handler is built in four sections: (A) mixing box, (B) flat filter section with six 20x25 pre-filters and six 20x25 main filters, (C) hot water heating coil and plenum rated 300 PSIG maximum operating pressure at 200 F (coil 28MHV232HDA065BRNC), and (D) a blow-thru supply fan section driven by two 10 HP, 1800 RPM motors (fan 39MBK9HVB25364TCCK, motor 93MS0925BA300X0XSB). Electrical supply is 460 V / 3 phase / 60 Hz, FLA/MCA/MOCP 12.5/15.6/25 each, with 31.0 maximum continuous amps. Fan speed is controlled by a factory-mounted ABB HVAC variable frequency drive (model 93VFKJH09D23JBXXBX) with a keypad display, mounted on the unit exterior alongside a local disconnect and an Eaton 60 A heavy-duty safety switch fed from panel 3PPH1, circuits 19, 21, 23. The hot water coil section is piped with insulated supply and return lines and shut-off/balancing valves, and the unit is connected to round supply and outside-air ductwork. At the time of the site visit the unit was installed and operating: the VFD display was lit and indicating a running fan speed. The unit is currently ducted, piped and hardwired in place and will require disconnection by trades plus rigging to remove. Overall footprint is approximately 180 in long x 90 in wide x 84 in high.
