Chillking GV072CK3-DCRLT Glycol Chiller System

Chillking GV072CK3-DCRLT glycol chiller system, a packaged air-cooled chiller used to supply chilled glycol to process or fermentation cooling loops. The unit is rated at approximately 6 tons (72,000 BTU/hr) and is built on a dual refrigeration circuit design, with two compressors and two condensing sections mounted on top of a stainless steel base cabinet that houses the reservoir, evaporator and circulating pump.

The nameplate lists a power supply of 208/230 volts, 3 phase, 60 Hz, with two compressors at 10.4 FLA / 73 LRA each, two 1/6 HP condenser fans at 0.95 FLA each, and a 1 HP water pump at 7.4 FLA. Minimum circuit ampacity is 33 amps and maximum fuse size is 43 amps. Each refrigeration circuit is factory charged with 72 oz of R-410A, test pressures are 450 PSIG high side / 240 PSIG low side, and the unit is ETL listed (Intertek 3195605) to UL STD 1995 and rated for outdoor use.

The chiller is serial number CK18H3179 with a nameplate date of 18-08-22 (2018). It is installed outdoors on wooden sleepers alongside a building, with insulated glycol supply and return lines run up the exterior wall and flexible electrical conduit landed at the cabinet; these connections will have to be disconnected before removal. Photos show the stainless steel enclosure intact with the manufacturer's label and nameplate legible, weathering and peeling of a coating or covering on one side panel, and surface soiling consistent with outdoor service. No operating condition, hours or accessories were recorded at the visit.
