Cytiva AKTA Pure 25 M Chromatography System with Fraction Collector F9-C

Cytiva AKTA Pure 25 M is a benchtop fast protein liquid chromatography (FPLC) system used for research- and lab-scale purification of proteins, peptides and nucleic acids. The 25 core module configuration covers a flow rate range of 0.001 to 25 mL/min (up to 50 mL/min for column packing) at operating pressures to 20 MPa (2900 psi), and the system runs under Cytiva UNICORN software over an Ethernet connection to an external computer (computer and software not pictured). It supports affinity, ion exchange, size exclusion, hydrophobic interaction and reversed phase separations. The unit in the photos is configured with the modular wet side populated: system pumps with piston pump heads, a sample pump, inlet valves A and B with multiple inlet lines, injection valve, column valve, pH valve with pH electrode, conductivity monitor, mixer, and a UV monitor module marked U9-D mounted on the upper panel. The flow path is plumbed with factory tubing, and a buffer/waste pole with holder is fitted on the right side of the instrument. Front panel Run and Pause keys are on the burgundy side panel. The system is offered with a Cytiva Fraction collector F9-C, shown with its cassette carrier and tube/plate cassettes in place. The F9-C collects up to 576 fractions in tubes, cassettes or deep well plates and is a separate benchtop module that connects to the AKTA pure. Field notes record the machine as "Lifordi NH lot 7 - Akta Pure 25 M." Both units were photographed sitting on a stainless steel bench, loose and plumbed with tubing but not built in. No condition testing, run hours or service history were reported, and the system was not observed powered on; a small accessory box is visible with the equipment but its contents were not documented.
