Equipment Description

ELMI Sky Line DTS-4 digital thermostatic shaker for microplates. The benchtop unit holds up to four standard microplates on a four-position orbital platform beneath a hinged insulated lid, and is used for mixing and incubating ELISA and other microplate-based assays. The front control panel provides separate LED displays with up/down keys for temperature, speed (RPM) and timer, plus a power/start key. Per the manufacturer's published data for this model, the shaker offers a speed range of about 100 to 1300 rpm with a 1.5 mm orbit, an incubation range of roughly ambient +3 C to 60 C, and timed operation up to 999 minutes. The rear nameplate identifies it as TYPE DTS-4, No. 13US013, 110V 60Hz, 4 A, built by ELMI ltd. of Riga, Latvia, and carries a CE mark. A rear rocker power switch and an IEC inlet with detachable line cord are present; the cord is included in the photos. The housing shows light cosmetic wear, adhesive residue and marker marks on the lid along with an inventory tag. No functional testing information was provided.
