Equipment Description
Gast DOA-P704-AA oil-less diaphragm vacuum/pressure pump. This bench-top laboratory pump produces both vacuum and pressure from a single oil-free diaphragm head driven by a fan-cooled, thermally protected motor, so no oil handling or oil-mist filtration is required. It is commonly used for filtration, aspiration, degassing, and general low-pressure air supply in laboratory and instrument-service applications. The nameplate on this unit reads model DOA-P704-AA, 115 volts, 4.2 amps, 60 Hz, maximum pressure 4.08 bar / 60 PSI, and carries UL and CE markings. Published data for the model lists maximum vacuum of 25.5 in. Hg and free-air delivery of roughly 1.1 CFM, with 1/4 in. inlet and outlet connections. As photographed, the pump is fitted with two panel-mounted gauges plumbed with flexible hose - one reading pressure in PSI/bar and one reading vacuum - brass 90-degree hose-barb fittings at the inlet and outlet, a rocker ON/OFF switch on the motor housing, a top carry handle, rubber isolation feet, and an attached line cord. The unit sits loose on a laboratory bench (bench 1380-02) and is in cosmetically clean condition in the photos. No operational test, service history, or accessories beyond what is visible are documented.
