Equipment Description

The machine designed to apply an additional torque to previously capped containers.
The machine uses a pair of gripper belts to grip the containers and transport them past the cap wheels. Two pairs of cap wheels are used and each wheel is fitted with a pneumatically controlled clutch. This ensures a consistent torque is applied to each cap without causing damage. The containers are supported using a top pressure applicator to keep them upright during the torquing process. The top pressure applicator also ensures that the ratchet mechanism of a child resistant cap is
engaged for application of torque.
