PECULIARITY:
The KING counting machine offers an extremely versatile and accurate method of counting for various types of coated and uncoated tablets, capsules, hard and soft gelatin capsules. The machine is highly adaptable, quick to install and clean, with an excellent design. The hopper holds bulk tablets with an adjustable plate at the outlet to allow various sizes of tablets to pass through. The product moves down the chute by vibration and falls onto a glass turntable driven by a gear motor. This turntable conveys the tablets in a clockwise direction by deflecting the products outward in a single line through guides, mounted near the glass, to the pick-up and exit plate arrangement at the front of the machine. A photocell and light source assembly is mounted at the exit, which is positioned so that a single row of tablets falls individually, interrupting the falling light beam, thus causing them to register on the electronic counter. The tablets then fall past a flap mechanism that flips over after a preselected count has been reached directing the tablets into another container. This configuration allows separate containers to be filled. Two plastic exit funnels are mounted at the final exit position, conveying the product into the containers. An adjustable shelf is mounted to accommodate various container heights. The unit requires a new optical cable.
