Kit Check Medium Scanning Station RFID Scanner

The Kit Check Medium Scanning Station is a benchtop RFID reader enclosure used in hospital and healthcare pharmacy operations to verify the contents of medication kits and trays. A tagged kit, tray or bin is placed inside the shielded cabinet, the doors are closed, and the station reads every RFID-tagged item at once, reporting the medications present, their quantities, lot numbers and expiration dates to the Kit Check (Bluesight) software so a kit can be restocked and checked in seconds rather than item by item. This is the Medium Scanning Station, Rev. 9.04, built for Kit Check by Celestica in Rochester, MN (Made in USA), serial number KC009-102008. The nameplate and rating label on the rear of the cabinet show the unit runs on 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz single-phase power through a standard IEC C14 inlet, with an RJ-45 10/100 Ethernet port alongside it for the network connection to the Kit Check application. The manufacturer lists the medium station at roughly 24.25 in. wide x 26.5 in. deep x 16.25 in. high externally with an interior scanning volume of about 21 x 23 x 12 in., sized for larger kits and trays. The photographs show the painted light-blue steel cabinet with the Kit Check / Powered by Bluesight branding, a pair of front-hinged doors with pull handles and stainless hinges, and the help/support decal on the door.
